Hogrefe started in the Netherlands in 2007. For 16 years we have been working with a small team in Amsterdam on publications in the field of psychology, psychiatry and pedagogy.
We work for Dutch psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists who use our tools in their daily work. Our portfolio includes assessments to be used as a basis for diagnosing, to support personnel selection decisions, and to serve as a starting point for treatment. We also specialise in publishing books designed to help our customers stay up to date on the latest developments and treatments in psychology.

Hogrefe Editore Srl was set up in Florence in 2012, as the Italian branch of the Hogrefe Publishing Group.
We develop psychological assessments in collaboration with the main Italian research centres in the clinical, human resources and school fields. Today, the company’s catalogue includes more than 100 tests, both original Italian tools and adaptations.
In 2014 we started publishing books on psychology and related disciplines: we have more than 50 titles, aimed at professionals, families, children and the general public.
